잔을 기울이면 33년 숙성이라는 나이가 무색하게 옅은 밀짚빛이 흐른다. 코를 가져가면 아몬드와 박하가 곧게 서고 젖은 백묵 같은 광물감이 뒤를 받친다. 43도의 한 모금은 맑고 날이 서 있으며 뮤즐리와 블루베리가 시간이 갈수록 커진다. 삼킨 뒤에는 감초와 용담 뿌리의 쌉쌀함이 길게 따라온다. 1991년 원액을 2024년에 병입한 이 보틀링은 셰리의 단맛보다 정갈한 윤곽으로 기억된다.

much more ‘chiselled’ than the Speymalt, sharper, purer and cleaner. Less yeasty/porridgy and much more almondy, minty and a little mineral (wet chalk)

very close to the Speymalt as far as the general profile is concerned but a little cleaner, sharper and, again, purer. Hints of what tastes like peat but it can’t be peat, can it? Gets bigger over time. Muesli, blueberries
timer Finish
long, with quite some liquorice again and hints of gentian
