Tasting Notes
짙은 호박빛이 잔 안에서 육중하게 흔들린다. 1990년 빈티지를 블랙애더가 로 캐스크로 담은 이 보틀링은 캐스크 성격이 대담해 커피와 다크 초콜릿, 럼과 쓴 오렌지의 향이 한꺼번에 밀려오고 볶은 땅콩과 고기 육수 같은 결까지 비친다. 59.8도의 입안은 크리미하면서도 공격적이고 올로로소의 단맛이 전면을 지배한다. 여운은 길지만 건조해 셰리를 좋아하는 이에게 특히 또렷하게 남는다.

starts with some very bold but rather balanced sherry – almost vinous – with lots of coffee, dark chocolate and rum, as well as bitter oranges, Corinthian raisins and roasted peanuts. Some meaty notes as well, game, caramelized meat sauce… It’s nice
restaurant Palate
creamy, powerful, almost too aggressive, with an overwhelming, dominating oloroso and some sourish notes that are slightly excessive for my tastes. Lots of chocolate, dark rum, simple cognac… One has to really love sherry to enjoy this Macallan. The finish is long but rather drying – for sherry monsters freaks only. 83 points .
