Tasting Notes
노징 단계에서 가장 먼저 잡히는 것은 담뱃잎과 다소 낯선 채소 뉘앙스다. 그 뒤로 당밀을 연상시키는 묵직한 단내가 따라붙어 1967년 증류 원액의 개성을 드러낸다. 팰럿은 갓 구운 빵과 오렌지 꽃, 사탕수수즙의 단맛으로 이어지고 투론과 으깬 피칸의 고소함이 균형을 잡는다. 40도의 낮은 도수가 아쉽게 느껴질 만큼 구조가 또렷하다. 피니시는 중간 길이로 프랄린과 진저브레드의 잔향을 남긴다.

unusual and, I have to say, intriguing, with quite a lot of tobacco and ‘nicer’ notes of stewed cabbage, then some rather clear notes of dunder rum, unless I’m dreaming. As I wrote, this is intriguing, and certainly more interesting than the moderately emotional OB
restaurant Palate
really very good, I’d have loved to find this at 46 or 50% (the whisky taster’s usual lament). Excellent bread and orange blossom, with a little cane juice (but still not sure there was some rum involved), candy sugar, perfect notes of ale, turron and crushed pecans, and just some good, solid bread. What’s better than good bread?
