Tasting Notes
노즈는 같은 계열의 다른 구성과 달리 담뱃잎과 조린 양배추 같은 이례적인 뉘앙스로 열려 흥미를 끈다. 그 뒤로 던더를 연상시키는 럼 계열의 향이 얇게 비치며 향의 방향이 뚜렷하게 갈린다. 팰럿은 예상보다 완성도가 높아 빵과 오렌지 꽃, 사탕수수즙의 단맛이 순서대로 올라오고 에일과 투론, 으깬 피칸의 고소함이 중심을 잡는다. 40도라는 도수가 아쉬울 만큼 좋은 구성이며 피니시는 중간 길이에 진저브레드가 남는다.

unusual and, I have to say, intriguing, with quite a lot of tobacco and ‘nicer’ notes of stewed cabbage, then some rather clear notes of dunder rum, unless I’m dreaming. As I wrote, this is intriguing, and certainly more interesting than the moderately emotional OB

really very good, I’d have loved to find this at 46 or 50% (the whisky taster’s usual lament). Excellent bread and orange blossom, with a little cane juice (but still not sure there was some rum involved), candy sugar, perfect notes of ale, turron and crushed pecans, and just some good, solid bread. What’s better than good bread?
