잔을 코끝으로 가져가면 뮤즐리와 달큰한 맥주 같은 곡물내가 먼저 올라와 옛 맥캘란과는 다른 얼굴을 보여준다. 잔을 흔들면 죽처럼 부드러운 맥아와 바닐라가 앞서고 녹차와 유칼립투스가 옅게 스친다. 피노와 올로로소를 함께 썼지만 한 모금 머금으면 무척 순해 생맥아와 새콤한 과일, 생강과 계피가 차례로 지나간다. 삼키면 갓 켠 오크의 기운이 중간 길이로 남아 산뜻하게 닫힌다.

very muesli-y for Macallan, sweet-beerish, and totally not in the ‘old style’. Porridge, sweet bread, malt, then a lot of vanilla. I almost wrote vanillin. Then touches of green tea, and perhaps just a hint of eucalyptus
restaurant Palate
really easy, and rather in the style of Glenmorangie, I’d say, but it’s got more beer, more raw malt, and more sour fruits. Oak spices coming out, ginger, cinnamon…
timer Finish
medium, on fresh oak. It really feels
