Tasting Notes
호박빛이 잔 속에서 진하게 응축된다. 셰리 벗 하나에서만 나온 이 원액의 향은 와인에 가까울 만큼 대담해 커피와 다크 초콜릿 럼 그리고 쓴 오렌지가 겹치고 그 아래로 구운 땅콩과 고기 육즙 같은 결이 깔린다. 입에서는 59.6도의 힘이 거침없이 밀려들어 올로로소의 진한 단맛과 다크 럼의 무게가 혀를 덮고 옅은 신맛이 그 사이를 가른다. 2004년에 병입된 이 싱글 캐스크의 여운은 길고 건조하게 마무리된다.

starts with some very bold but rather balanced sherry – almost vinous – with lots of coffee, dark chocolate and rum, as well as bitter oranges, Corinthian raisins and roasted peanuts. Some meaty notes as well, game, caramelized meat sauce… It’s nice
restaurant Palate
creamy, powerful, almost too aggressive, with an overwhelming, dominating oloroso and some sourish notes that are slightly excessive for my tastes. Lots of chocolate, dark rum, simple cognac… One has to really love sherry to enjoy this Macallan. The finish is long but rather drying – for sherry monsters freaks only. 83 points .
