스페이사이드 크레이겔라키의 매캘런은 셰리 캐스크 숙성의 대명사로 군림해 온 증류소다. 1980 빈티지 그란 레세르바가 잔에 깊은 적갈색을 새긴다. 셰리 우드의 향은 말린 자두와 오렌지, 진한 토피의 단내가 우아하게 솟는다. 40도의 입은 건포도와 다크초콜릿, 은은한 향신료가 매끄럽게 흐른다. 여운에는 셰리 단맛과 오크의 깊이가 길게 깃들어 있다.
