Tasting Notes
잔을 가까이 하면 1975년 증류된 올드 매캘런다운 잘 익은 셰리 풍미가 두드러져 건포도와 말린 오렌지, 오래된 오크의 향이 차례로 드러난다. 18년 숙성과 43도의 점잖은 도수가 옛 스페이사이드의 우아한 성격을 분명히 보여 준다. 입에서는 무화과와 흑설탕, 가벼운 가죽이 부드럽게 입을 적시며 셰리의 단맛과 오크의 깊이가 균형을 이룬다. 오래된 보틀링다운 정제된 질감이 또렷하고, 피니시는 마른 과일과 향신료가 길게 남는다.

ah, for crying out loud, yesss! Fantastic cakes of various origins, especially peach pies, pecan pies, Linzertorte, panettone, etc etc etc. You get the idea. Some honeys as well (it’s almost as if they had added a few hoggies of Highland Park while no one was watching), a touch of menthol, a wee hint of Cuban tobacco, and possibly some vanilla-ed chestnut purée. Obvious and luminous (S.!)

t.h.e.r.e. Well done. Malt, dried fruits, fresh ones, tobacco, proper milk chocolate, many cakes, and simply a feeling of joy

it’s where it’ll lose one or two points because of some kind of grittiness that’s a little unnecessary. But I guess you cannot have all these oaks without suffering from a little over-oakiness
