Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 매캘런 1966 특유의 흙내음을 머금은 셰리 위로 건포도와 세비야 오렌지, 초콜릿, 밤꿀의 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 셰리 오크에서 25년을 보낸 만큼 계피와 정향, 육두구의 향신료가 명확하게 드러난다. 팰럿은 43도의 절제된 도수 위로 쌉쌀한 오렌지와 꿀, 파이프 담배, 리큐어 초콜릿의 향미가 층층이 발전한다. 올드 스페이사이드 셰리다운 원숙함과 균형이 단단하다. 피니시는 마멀레이드와 꿀, 은은한 향신료가 우아하게 이어지는 기념비적 보틀링이다.

an earthy and slightly smoky sherry that reminds me of the older 8 or 12, with raisins, kirsch, Seville oranges, chocolate, chestnut honey and then cinnamon, cloves, mint, and nutmeg. It doesn’t feel very old, but I’d call this ‘classic’

indeed, the older 12+. Quite a lot of bitter oranges and honey in the arrival, then this very peculiar toffeeness plus Corinthian raisins, pipe tobacco, liqueur-filled chocolate, and a touch of vanilla fudge. Millionaire shortbread. Good body
