Tasting Notes
깊은 마호가니빛이 잔 속에 깊게 머문다. 1960년 빈티지 맥캘란이 25년의 숙성을 거쳐 1986년 더 애니버서리 몰트로 봉인되었고, 황금기 맥캘란의 셰리 결이 향에서 또렷이 풀려난다. 무화과 잼과 묵은 가죽, 다크 초콜릿, 자두 콩포트의 결이 가장 먼저 코를 사로잡고 입에서는 43%의 절제된 도수가 정향과 호두, 다크 토피의 단맛을 부드럽게 끌어올린다. 1960년대 스페이사이드 셰리의 무게가 또렷이 비친다. 여운은 가죽과 향신료로 길다.

straw again, just a little darker
air Nose
again a step forward. Much more oomph this time. Some very nice notes of heather, lavender and tropical fruits (passion fruit, guava). Very nice balance. Vanilla crème, kumquat, skin of an overripe orange. Nice nose! Some oakiness and dust emerge after a few minutes
restaurant Palate
rather bold attack, on crystallised orange, dried fruits, fructose. Nice! Hints of smoke and ashes. Too bad it gets a little too woody and tannic again. Develops on toasted bread, burnt cake, with hints of liquorice. Medium finish, on tannins and pepper. This one is much better than the 18yo, that’s for sure. 83 points.
