Tasting Notes
반세기를 넘어선 시간이 응축된 진한 호박빛이 잔 깊이 잠긴다. 1949년 맥캘란이 50년을 보낸 시간은 잔 위에 가장 먼저 묵은 가죽과 시가 박스, 마른 자두의 향을 풀어놓는다. 한 모금을 머금으면 시간이 깎아낸 매끄러운 단맛이 입천장을 천천히 덮고, 흑설탕과 호두, 마른 무화과의 풍미가 또렷이 깃든다. 40.25도의 절제된 도수는 반세기 시간 속에 길들여져 거칠지 않고, 마지막에는 묵은 흙과 회향의 여운이 길게 이어진다.
