Tasting Notes
그윽한 호박빛이 잔 속에 진하게 고인다. 셰리 오크로 이름난 스페이사이드 맥캘란 18년답게 볶은 건포도와 메이플 시럽, 마카다미아의 향이 은은한 훈연과 함께 겹겹이 올라온다. 43도의 원액은 입안에서 다소 드라이하게 블랙티와 담배, 비터 초콜릿의 쌉쌀함을 드러내지만 오렌지 마멀레이드의 산뜻함이 이를 들어 올린다. 여운은 쌉쌀한 홍차와 감귤의 잔향이 중간 길이로 우아하게 남는다.

joking aside, this is a great nose, delicately metallic and smoky at first, then roasted and fruity, with some cereals, maple syrup, roasted raisins, and some kind of smoky muesli. too bad it's a little too dry, too much on black tea, tobacco, bitter chocolate, toffee… Now it remains very good, with jams chiming in, marmalades, herbal teas… Oranges keep lifting it, a phenomenon that's also to be seen at Dalmore's. Oranges rule!
