Tasting Notes
마른 볏짚색이 잔 안에서 담백하게 빛난다. 매캘런 12년 더블 캐스크는 향에서 몰트와 시리얼의 곡물 향이 앞서고 잘 익은 사과와 배, 옅은 민트가 산뜻하게 감돈다. 셰리를 입힌 오크와 유러피언 오크가 어우러져 단정한 균형을 이룬다. 40도의 도수에서 입안은 부드럽고 달콤하며 캐러멜과 마시멜로, 오렌지 케이크의 단맛이 흐른다. 몰트와 구운 견과의 잔향이 짧지만 균형 있게 마무리된다.

very malty, very cereally, with whiffs of ripe apples and pears flying around and hints of mint. No thrill but good balance, a perfect access-category malt so far, reminding me of Cardhu, Knockando or... Chivas Regal

sweet, easy, not weak, malty and grainy, with some caramel, marshmallows, orange cake and a little liquorice. Hints of toasted bread
