Tasting Notes
잔을 코끝에 가져가면 차갑게 우린 홍차와 얼그레이, 인동꽃 향이 먼저 피어오른다. 히스 꿀과 커스터드가 받쳐 40도치고 향은 제법 화사하다. 셰리 오크에서 익은 맥캘란 12년을 머금으면 잎사귀 같은 셰리의 떫음과 오크 스파이스, 구운 견과가 차례로 지난다. 건포도와 계피가 은근히 감기고 삼키면 태운 캐러멜의 쌉쌀함이 남는다. 힘보다 향의 결로 마시는 스페이사이드 셰리다.

more towards the leafiness of the Sherry than I remembered, with more oak spices beyond some custard and nougat. Then we find the expected roasted nuts, honey and this slight molassy side. Raisins and vanilla, some caraway, cinnamon…

medium, a little teaish and with a little burnt caramel. A little earth in the aftertaste
