Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 풀 셰리 숙성에서 온 호두와 마멀레이드가 먼저 앞서고, 이파리 같은 허브 뉘앙스가 뒤따른다. 맥캘란 엘레간시아답게 오로로소와 피노 셰리 오크의 흔적이 태운 건포도와 옅은 고무 향으로 발전한다. 팰럿에서는 건포도와 오렌지 마멀레이드, 프루트케이크가 또렷하게 드러나고 쌉싸름한 차의 결이 받친다. 40도의 낮은 도수 탓에 무게감은 가볍지만 짜임새는 견고하다. 피니시는 풀 향이 짙어지는 그래시한 마무리가 특징이다.

full sherry maturation but it's rather a leafy and sightly herbal sherry, with walnuts, marmalade and a slight gamey side. High grouse. I'm also finding some leafier honey, such as green oak honeydew, which is excellent by the way. Touches of burnt raisins and a hint of rubber. Nutshell, it is a nice nose, pretty complex, but the truth hides on the palate, as usual

raisins, orange marmalade, hint of liquorice, fruitcake and bitter teas. Green walnuts, nocino… Just like last time, I'm finding a little too much spicy rubber, was this new European oak prior to the seasoning with sherry?
