스페이 강가 크레이겔라키의 맥캘란은 셰리 몰트로 이름 높지만, 이 트리플 캐스크는 버번 오크의 비중이 커 한결 가볍고 맑은 얼굴을 보인다. 40도의 이 12년산은 옅은 볏짚빛을 띤다. 코에는 풀향과 은은한 꽃, 옅은 셰리가 깔끔하게 오르며 로우랜드 몰트를 떠올리게 한다. 입안은 살짝 달큼하게 흐르며 잘 익은 사과와 구스베리 같은 흰 과일이 얹힌다. 여운은 몰트의 단맛이 짧지만 정갈하게 마무리된다.

a little sweetish and sugary. Some white fruit (ripe apple, gooseberry). Not bad at all but lacks personality.
