Tasting Notes
스페이사이드 맥캘란 7년으로, 셰리 캐스크에서 숙성해 40도로 병입한 이탈리아 수입판이다. 노즈에서는 달콤한 사과와 청자두, 바닐라 크림과 호두 케이크가 가장 먼저 두드러지고 데메라라 설탕의 단맛이 더해진다. 어린 나이답게 팰럿은 깨끗하고 과일이 풍부해 사과주스와 장미향 터키시 딜라이트, 배즙 같은 단맛이 또렷이 드러난다. 피니시는 중간 이상의 길이로 과실 증류주 같은 잔향이 남는다.

indeed, this one has nothing to do with the old sherritastics, it even noses rather younger than 20. Very classy ‘naked’ young Speysider all on sweet apples, greengages, a little sweetened lemon juice, notes of vanilla crème, a little butterscotch, walnut cake, Demerara sugar… It’s rather delicate, very elegant. No water needed I think

very good, very sweet, very clean, very fruity and… very young. It tastes more or less like a good 10 yo Miltonduff if I may say so. Apple juice, hints of Turkish delights (rose-flavoured, obviously), even pear juice, a little nougat…
