노즈에서는 쿨일라 특유의 정제된 피트 연기와 바다 내음이 먼저 두드러진다. 버번 우드에서 27년을 보낸 만큼 레몬과 바닐라, 광물 같은 미네랄 향이 또렷이 발전한다. 53.5도의 팰럿은 짭조름한 훈연 위로 시트러스와 가벼운 후추가 어우러지며 구조감이 단단하다. 오래 익은 아일라다운 정갈한 스모크 여운이 길게 이어지며 깔끔하게 마무리된다.
