리필과 재생 처리한 캐스크가 함께 빚어낸 14년의 숙성이 잔 안에서 정교하게 균형을 이룬다. 잔을 가까이 하면 풋사과와 배, 갓 깎은 연필 같은 산뜻한 향이 올라온다. 55.9도의 높은 도수는 바닐라와 시리얼, 가벼운 후추의 풍미를 또렷하게 끌어올린다. 비교적 젊은 증류소인 로지일다운 깨끗하고 기름진 질감이 중심을 잡는다. 옅은 황금빛 끝에 흰 꽃과 보리 단맛이 잔잔히 이어진다.

it’s light, soft, malty, on apples and pears, with no edges and nothing out of place. One thinks of Glenfiddich 12 straight away. With water: a few notes of roasted peanuts and white nougat

of course it’s good, it’s ultra-classic, all on malt with touches of coffee, limoncello, and pilsner beer. Very light, very ‘natural’, despite a few hints of that absolute abomination some call Dubai-style chocolate. With water: no major change, save for a faint bitterness
