앵거스 해안 농장에서 곡물부터 병입까지 잇는 아비키는 밭에서 시작하는 하이랜드 라이 위스키를 빚는다. 2015년 빈티지를 차드 아메리칸 오크와 아르마냑 배럴에서 세 해 익힌 이 하이랜드 라이는 옅은 금빛을 띠며, 호밀빵과 박하, 정향 향이 또렷하게 솟는다. 46도의 입안은 매콤한 호밀 향신료와 캐러멜, 시트러스가 산뜻하게 번진다. 여운에는 박하와 구운 오크가 깔끔하게 식어가며 길게 이어진다.

beautifully fresh and, surprisingly, easier and fruitier than the core release. Notes of hazelnut bread, apricot, and pear mingle with hints of lavender and violet, giving it a distinctly Provençal vibe. The Calvados influence remains subtle, but the wood is a touch more assertive here
