버번과 오크 캐스크가 5년의 시간을 함께 빚어낸 흔적이 향과 입에서 또렷이 드러난다. 독일 마르더 증류소의 블랙 포레스트 리저브 2011은 53.7도의 카스크 스트렝스로 슈바르츠발트의 단단한 캐릭터를 곱게 풀어낸다. 향은 바닐라 크림과 마른 살구, 옅은 향신료. 입에서는 캐러멜과 구운 견과, 가벼운 시나몬이 두꺼운 질감으로 흐른다. 어린 위스키답지 않은 단단한 구조감이 여운에 깊게 머문다.
