Tasting Notes
미국 뉴욕 디스틸링 컴퍼니의 라이 위스키를 부티키 위스키 컴퍼니가 병입한 이 보틀링은 단 두 해의 젊은 시간을 잔에 옅은 황금빛으로 담는다. 향은 호밀빵과 딜, 박하의 알싸한 향신료가 또렷하게 솟아오른다. 50도의 입안은 캐러멜과 검은 후추, 정향의 매운 단맛이 산뜻하게 번진다. 라이 위스키 특유의 스파이시한 생기가 인상적이며, 여운에는 박하와 오크의 알싸함이 길게 남는다.

I do not get much calvados or applejack, and that’s great news if you ask me. I’m rather finding butterscotch, sweet ale, some cinnamon and ginger cake, some light pipe tobacco (we used to have ‘Amsterdamer’), and more and more caraway liqueur. a little sweet, and really on ginger ale and sweet cider this time. A lot of pepper and some unexpected notes of pineapples. A tad rustic, perhaps. With water: takes water very well. Despite the sweetness that’s a little too much for me, this breadier, peppery side just clicks. Reminds me of our Germanic Christmas cakes, Stolle and stuff
