Tasting Notes
아우터 헤브리디스의 거친 바다와 바람이 키운 해리스 섬에서 더 헤라크 디케이드 에디션이 태어났다. 잔에는 옅은 호박빛이 어린다. 올로로소 버트와 헤븐힐 버번 배럴이 어우러져, 가벼운 이탄 연기 위로 말린 과일과 꿀, 바다 소금기가 겹친다. 6년의 젊은 숙성이지만 46도의 구성이 단정해, 입에서는 보리 단맛과 짭조름한 해풍, 은은한 스모크가 또렷하게 드러난다. 여운은 짠 미네랄과 옅은 셰리 단맛으로 길게 이어진다.

pale white wine. Young distilleries no longer seem to use any caramel
air Nose
classic bready start, some porridge, sourdough, rennet, garden peat, then green olives, which I just always love. It's almost as if they had let some olives swim in the casks, or macerate in the wash
restaurant Palate
it's peatier on the palate and it's got a very distinct style. You'd say 30ppm rather than just 15, really. This one too is pretty ashy, in fact, but there's a fermentary depth (see what I mean) that's adding, well, some depth. Notes of pickled lemons, more olives, small gherkins…
timer Finish
rather long, with lemons chiming in, which always works. Oh and a little gin, haha
