Tasting Notes
홋카이도 동쪽 끝, 안개와 한류가 감도는 아케시 해안에서 스코틀랜드식으로 빚어낸 아케시 쇼만이다. 잔에는 옅은 금빛이 비친다. 차가운 해양성 기후가 어린 원액에도 또렷한 결을 새겨 옅은 피트 연기와 레몬, 마른 풀의 향이 산뜻하게 오른다. 48도의 깔끔한 질감으로 입에서는 훈연과 소금기, 시트러스가 또렷하게 번진다. 여운에는 짭조름한 연기와 미네랄이 단정하게 이어진다.

air Nose
it's pretty malty, rather on mentholy herbs, muscovado, lemon marmalade, sauna oils, lime, with drops of aguardiente thrown in. It is a very fine combination, slightly smoky (garden bonfire), with grain whiskies that have been kept at their places (in a dark corner, ha)
restaurant Palate
echoes of Laphroaig, seaweed smoke, lapsang souchong, cigar ashes and green/bitter vegetables (eggplants and compadres). Some peppered grapefruits at the helm. Feels young and probably not perfectly integrated yet, but it's got everything needed as far as knack, zing and oomph are concerned
timer Finish
good length, with some earthy, smoky citrus syrup. Tarry menthol in the aftertaste
