Flavor Profile
Tasting Notes
Colour
deep gold
air Nose
indeed, the sherry somewhat mutes the ultra-citrusy profile of the previous one, but in exchange we’re treated to splendid notes of peanut butter, before the oranges begin to mingle in. I’ll add that we’re very fond of peanut butter. With water: orange blossom and wee cumin notes rise to the surface
restaurant Palate
there’s a bit of a gin-like or rye-ish kick at this high strength, which is rather amusing and surprising, but I’m sure a few drops of water will sort that right out. With water: indeed, and pink pepper joins the blood orange parade. You could say this was a very well-mannered oloroso, almost distinguished
timer Finish
long, a tad more peppery still, with less fruity exuberance
