잔을 가볍게 흔들면 핀란드 퀴뢰의 짙은 적갈색이 잔 벽을 따라 미끄러진다. 코끝에 가져가면 호밀을 주원료로 빚은 이 위스키답게 갓 구운 호밀빵과 말린 자두, 옅은 후추 향이 올로로소 셰리 위로 피어오른다. 56.5도의 한 모금을 입에 굴리면 다섯 해 숙성이 다듬은 호밀의 알싸함과 셰리의 건포도 단맛이 동시에 혀를 채운다. 삼키고 나면 향신료와 다크 초콜릿이 뒤섞여 입천장을 덮으며 길게 내려앉는다.
