Tasting Notes
진한 황금빛에 붉은 기가 어린다. 텍사스의 뜨거운 기후에서 빠르게 익은 원액답게, 코끝에는 진한 캐러멜과 옥수수빵, 구운 바닐라의 달콤한 향이 강하게 솟아오른다. 개리슨 브라더스의 어린 싱글 배럴은 입안에서 메이플과 토피, 시나몬의 향신료가 풍성하게 번진다. 47도의 질감은 부드럽지만 텍사스 특유의 진득한 무게감이 또렷하다. 여운에는 흑설탕과 구운 오크의 온기가 길게 남으며 달콤하게 마무리된다. 어린 나이가 무색한 농축된 풍미가 인상적이다.

air Nose
classic, pencil shavings, toasted bread, popcorn, pumpernickel, caraway, cinnamon, ginger, and a wee rye-y/earthy side. Rather oak-driven, but not too oak-driven
restaurant Palate
young bourbon with unexpected hints of olive oil, then gingerbread and liquorice wood. Good breadiness, and despite its origins, no gunpowder that I can feel (hey, I’m joking!)
timer Finish
rather long, with many oak spices as well as a sweeter side, around marmalade. Earthy and bready aftertaste, as it should be
