몬트로즈의 노스에스크 강 어귀와 북해의 차가운 공기가 글렌에스크의 풍토를 만들었다. 1969년 빈티지가 25년 거쳐 61.9도로 병입됐다. 짙은 황금빛 잔에서 마른 보리, 헤이즐넛 껍질, 옅은 흙내가 솟는다. 입안은 두꺼운 질감으로 마른 토피, 흰 후추, 산화된 사과의 묵직한 단맛이 또렷하다. 여운에는 마른 풀과 오크 탄닌이 천천히 사라진다.
