Tasting Notes
잔을 천천히 회전시키면 황금색이 잔 안쪽에 잔잔히 잠겨 있다. 잔을 코끝에 가져가면 1980년 빈티지 콜번의 사라진 스페이사이드 증류소답게 곡물과 시트러스 향이 가장 먼저 마중한다. 곧이어 가벼운 꿀과 마른 풀이 따라 올라온다. 한 모금을 머금으면 62.9도 알코올의 단단한 힘이 24년 숙성의 단맛을 또렷이 받쳐 올린다. 시나몬과 후추 스파이스가 입천장을 깊게 덮는다. 삼킨 뒤 따라가는 여운에서 구운 보리와 옅은 꿀이 길게 깃든다.

really beautiful, starting on some bold notes of crystallised oranges and quite some smoke. Liquorice, smoked tea… Really special. A little water brings some maritime notes, sea air… An unusual Coleburn, rather delicate and subtle despite its strength and the sherry
restaurant Palate
bold and compact at the same time, with a beautiful sweetness and lots of dried fruits, developing on eucalyptus candies, beeswax with honey (the beekeeper’s chewing-gum)… Long finish with ‘a smoky touch’. One of the best Coleburns I ever had
