Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 말린 무화과와 호두, 가죽 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 1980년 증류된 폐쇄 증류소 콜번의 희소한 셰리 우드 숙성답게 깊고 어두운 과일 향이 노즈를 가득 채운다. 62.9도의 높은 도수가 입안을 두껍게 감싸며 다크초콜릿과 건포도, 정향의 풍미가 또렷하게 이어진다. 24년 셰리 우드 숙성에서 비롯된 오크 탄닌과 향신료가 중반의 구조를 단단하게 잡는다. 피니시는 쌉쌀한 코코아와 말린 과일이 길게 발전한다. 사라진 콜번의 셰리 캐릭터를 진하게 담은 보틀링이다.

really beautiful, starting on some bold notes of crystallised oranges and quite some smoke. Liquorice, smoked tea… Really special. A little water brings some maritime notes, sea air… An unusual Coleburn, rather delicate and subtle despite its strength and the sherry
restaurant Palate
bold and compact at the same time, with a beautiful sweetness and lots of dried fruits, developing on eucalyptus candies, beeswax with honey (the beekeeper’s chewing-gum)… Long finish with ‘a smoky touch’. One of the best Coleburns I ever had
