세월에 잠긴 짙은 호박이 잔의 안쪽에서 묵직하게 흐른다. 1985년 폐쇄된 밀번의 1974 빈티지 29년은 위스키 코노이서가 로스트 레전드 미니어처로 풀어낸 희귀한 인버네스 보틀링이며, 향에서는 마른 야생초와 옅은 토탄, 가죽, 잘 익은 자두가 차분히 떠오른다. 56.8도의 도수는 입안에서 폐쇄 하이랜드 증류소의 견고한 골격 위로 캐러멜라이즈된 흑설탕과 구운 견과류, 옅은 향신료의 결을 풀어놓는다. 여운은 잊혀진 증류소의 침묵처럼 깊게 끌린다.

it’s perfect. There’s even smoked ham (the quirky side of Inverness malts), otherwise all those marvellous things from a beehive, plus pink pepper and the famous mirabelle + quince duo that’s adorned, even decorated, many great malts. Like old Balvenies or certain HPs

game, set, and match. Top-notch... and guess what, that smoked ham is still there. Incredible
