Tasting Notes
하이랜드의 폐쇄 증류소 밀번을 SMWS가 87.5번 코드로 풀어낸 15년 숙성이다. 1983 빈티지를 리필 캐스크에서 길러 1999년에 캐스크 스트렝스로 병입했다. 노즈에서는 마른 풀과 흙내음, 묵은 곡물의 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 팰럿에서는 시리얼의 고소함과 옅은 토피가 중심을 잡고 흰 후추와 마른 가죽이 윤곽을 그린다. 56.4퍼센트의 알코올이 무게를 더하며 구조감이 또렷하다. 피니시는 마른 곡물과 오래된 캔버스의 인상으로 길게 이어진다.

it’s perfect. There’s even smoked ham (the quirky side of Inverness malts), otherwise all those marvellous things from a beehive, plus pink pepper and the famous mirabelle + quince duo that’s adorned, even decorated, many great malts. Like old Balvenies or certain HPs

game, set, and match. Top-notch... and guess what, that smoked ham is still there. Incredible
