노즈에서는 후지 고텐바가 21년의 시간을 거치며 빚어낸 백도와 흰꽃, 부드러운 곡물 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 일본 위스키의 정제된 캐릭터가 노즈에서부터 명확하게 드러난다. 팰럿에서는 멜론과 옅은 꿀, 미세한 오크 스파이스가 부드럽게 발전한다. 40도의 도수가 향미의 결을 깔끔하게 정돈한다. 피니시는 짧으면서도 균형이 단단하며 일본 산악 지대의 청량한 공기가 잔향에 깊게 머문다.
