후지산 기슭 고텐바의 청량한 산공기와 깨끗한 복류수가 이 일본 위스키에 단정한 결을 부여한다. 잔에는 맑은 금빛이 어린다. 21년의 향에서는 꿀과 백도, 은은한 향나무가 단정하게 피어오른다. 40도로 절제된 입안은 부드러운 곡물 단맛과 옅은 오크가 매끄럽게 균형을 이룬다. 자극이 거의 없이 흐르며, 여운에는 녹차의 청량함과 꿀의 잔향이 잔잔히 잠겨 있다.
