Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 1968년 빈티지 글렌유리 로열 특유의 농축된 보리 곡물과 가벼운 향신료가 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 더글러스 라잉 올드 몰트 캐스크의 32년 숙성이 명확하게 드러나며 49.4 도수의 알코올이 향의 농도를 안정적으로 받쳐준다. 팰럿에서는 잘 정돈된 우드, 옅은 시트러스, 농밀한 단맛이 순차적으로 발전하고 사일런트 디스틸러리 글렌유리 특유의 단단한 구조감이 균형이 단단하다. 정제된 오크 영향이 미들 팰럿에서 단단한 골격을 만든다. 하이랜드 캐릭터의 정제된 곡물 골격이 분석의 중심축으로 자리잡는다. 피니시는 길고 정제된 우드 잔향이 또렷하다.

earthy and full of balsamic, many roasted nuts, chestnuts, almonds, Brazil nuts and trail mix with plenty sultanas, dates and raisins. Leather, game meats, shoe polish, raspberry jam, hessian and some prune juice. Typical old school sherried excellence. Some aged Boal Madeira, Dundee cake and crystallised ginger in syrup. a lot of hessian on arrival. Also hazelnut liqueur, mint julep, old demerara rum, cocktail bitters, herbal extracts, Marmite, beef stock and a gentle seesaw between sooty and leafy aspects. Plenty tobacco, espresso, cherry cola and camphor. Straightforward and very very good
timer Finish
long, leathery, peppery and full of damson preserve, violets, lychee and mint tea. Still meaty and nicely bitter in the aftertaste
