it works, rich, slightly spicy (cask ‘curry’), but also full of excellent fruit pastes, quince, orange... With water: the saltiness now emerges from the wood. The oak itself is a touch dominant (nutmeg, pepper, ginger)

fairly long, quite cask-driven, with lingering spice
