Tasting Notes
첫 향은 잘 익은 살구와 건포도, 오래된 오크가 또렷하게 앞선다. 폐쇄된 글렌유기 1977이 올로로소 셰리 피니시를 거친 28년으로 사라진 증류소의 깊이를 명확하게 드러낸다. 팰럿은 오렌지와 다크초콜릿, 마른 향신료가 더해지며 45.5도의 도수가 둥근 균형을 잡는다. 피니시는 마른 견과와 가죽으로 길게 끌린다. 셰리가 더한 노숙성의 균형이 단단하다.

not quite a typical Glenugie, that is to say not a boldly fruity one at first nosing, rather a buttery one, with pastries, leaven, then bone marrow, custard, some kind of potato soup, mashed carrots… Perhaps touches of wet concrete and cardboard too… As they say, the jury’s still out…
restaurant Palate
ah yes, sparkles of Glenugieness! Which means tangerines, citrons, blood oranges, and the wackiest guavas. In truth this palate has nothing to do with the nose, it’s even quite extraordinary. No other malt whisky has or had Glenugie’s very typical fruitiness. I can even find some fruity hops… Right, good IPA

medium, all on those fruits. Fruits that are just about to start to rot…
