일본 가고시마 서쪽 동중국해를 마주한 가노스케는 따뜻한 해안 기후와 바닷바람 속에서 빠르게 무르익는 신생 증류소다. 2019년 증류해 올로로소 캐스크에서 보낸 이 위스키는 잔에 짙은 호박빛을 낸다. 향은 건포도와 흑설탕, 구운 견과가 또렷이 드러난다. 60도의 입안에서는 말린 과일과 다크초콜릿, 후추가 두꺼운 질감으로 흐른다. 남국의 해안이 빚은 여운은 셰리의 달큰함과 따뜻한 오크로 길게 남는다.
