Tasting Notes
세월이 다듬어낸 짙은 황금빛이 유리잔에 고요하게 머문다. 1959년 증류된 덤바턴 25년은 로우랜드의 가벼운 곡물 캐릭터를 1980년대 보틀링 시점의 산화된 향으로 감싸 안고 있으며, 첫 향에서는 익은 살구와 마른 풀, 오래된 도서관 책장의 먼지가 어우러져 떠오른다. 46도의 절제된 도수가 입안에서 백후추와 꿀, 잘게 부순 헤이즐넛으로 풀려나가며 로우랜드 그레인 위스키 특유의 깔끔한 단맛을 드러낸다. 여운은 마른 짚단처럼 부드럽게 사그라든다.

oatcakes, shortbread and wild herbs, plus some leaven bread, fresh croissants (being French, I can't live without croissants), and baguettes to boost (same comment). A pretty subtle fresh oakiness in the background, with some sourdough bread too. Which I love
restaurant Palate
simple and exactly right. High-precision malty and bready composition, with some battelman/bettelmann, tart apples and greengages, plus a little grapefruit marmalade and some quince jelly. A drop of rooibos tea too
timer Finish
medium, on similar notes, plus slightly undercooked breads and cakes (my favourites), and just a big smile because of the extremely fair price (£29.99, is that even possible?)
