투명한 황금빛이 잔 안에서 맑게 빛난다. 버번 숙성 위에 몬텔로보스 메즈칼 캐스크가 더해져, 코끝에는 구운 아가베의 옅은 훈연과 풋풋한 허브 향이 독특하게 얽힌다. 네덜란드 클레이 증류소의 4년이라는 젊은 원액답게 입안에서는 꿀과 구운 시리얼의 단맛이 또렷하게 드러난다. 53도의 질감은 미끄러지듯 부드럽게 입천장을 적신다. 여운에는 메즈칼이 남긴 흙과 연기의 그을린 뉘앙스가 의외로 길게 머문다. 젊지만 개성만큼은 분명한 한 잔이다.
