very fresh and clean start, on grains and apples, getting then quite gingery with also some notes of aspirin and gin fizz, orange drops, Fanta… Also rather cardboardy. Quite simple and not too enjoyable, in fact

restaurant Palate

not too bold and extremely sweet, on sugared apple juice, Fanta again; It then sort of falls apart, with a very short finish and just a little pepper and cinnamon – quite bitter, in fact. Drinkable but that’s all, I’m afraid. 73 points . Inverleven 26 yo 1977/2003 (57%, Ducan Taylor Peerless, cask #3095, 168 bottles)
