Tasting Notes
세월에 바랜 옅은 금빛이 잔 속에서 고요하게 빛난다. 1977년에 증류돼 26년을 보낸 인버레븐은 이제 문을 닫은 로랜드 증류소의 흔적을 고스란히 담고 있다. 향은 들꽃과 마른 건초, 레몬 제스트가 가볍게 어우러져 로랜드 특유의 섬세함을 드러낸다. 57도라는 높은 도수에도 입안에서는 보리 사탕과 흰 후추의 결이 또렷하게 살아나며 의외의 단단함을 보인다. 시간이 깎아낸 부드러움 위로 마른 오크의 여운이 길게 이어지며 천천히 옅어진다. 사라진 증류소의 흔적을 더듬듯 마른 곡물과 흰 꽃의 결이 천천히 발전해 간다.

very fresh and clean start, on grains and apples, getting then quite gingery with also some notes of aspirin and gin fizz, orange drops, Fanta… Also rather cardboardy. Quite simple and not too enjoyable, in fact
restaurant Palate
not too bold and extremely sweet, on sugared apple juice, Fanta again; It then sort of falls apart, with a very short finish and just a little pepper and cinnamon – quite bitter, in fact.
