짙은 마호가니 빛이 잔 속에서 묵직한 광채를 품고 잠겨 있다. 폐쇄된 스페이사이드 증류소 밴프의 1971 빈티지가 36년 숙성을 거치며 도달한 채도다. 향에서는 오래된 도서관의 가죽 장정과 말린 자두, 향신료 박힌 오렌지 껍질이 부드럽게 비친다. 입에 머금으면 시간이 다듬어낸 구운 견과류와 흑설탕이 흐르며 53.7도의 알코올은 가시가 아닌 따뜻한 심지로 깊게 머문다. 사라진 증류소 특유의 미네랄이 길게 깃들어 오랜 시간을 다시 들려준다.
