잔을 가볍게 흔들면 시즈오카의 어린 4년산이 잔 벽에 옅은 장미빛 호박색을 빠르게 흘려낸다. 코끝에 가져가면 와인 캐스크가 짧고 강렬하게 입혀준 검은 체리, 라즈베리, 흑설탕 시럽 향이 함께 솟아오른다. 한 모금을 머금으면 65.4도의 강한 알코올이 다크초콜릿과 자두 잼을 입천장에 두껍게 펼친다. 삼키면 옅은 정향과 어린 보리향이 길게 따라오며 후지산 자락 신생 증류소의 야심이 또렷이 깃든다.
