잔을 가볍게 흔들면 멜버른에서 익은 스타워드의 밝은 황금빛이 잔 벽을 타고 미끄러진다. 코끝으로 가져가면 버번 캐스크가 남긴 바닐라와 잘 익은 복숭아, 옅은 꿀 향이 먼저 마중 나온다. 52도의 한 모금을 입에 굴리면 다섯 해라는 짧은 숙성이 무색하게 시럽 같은 단맛과 오크 향신료가 혀를 감싼다. 호주의 따뜻한 기후가 빚은 진한 과일 풍미를 삼키면 캐러멜의 온기가 입천장에 길게 따라온다.
