Tasting Notes
잔을 가볍게 흔들면 옅은 금빛 술이 잔 벽을 따라 천천히 미끄러져 내린다. 코끝으로 가져가면 사라진 인버네스의 글렌 알빈답게 마른 풀과 사과, 옅은 미네랄 향이 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 59.7도의 강렬한 알코올이 혀를 데우고 보리 단맛과 시트러스, 가벼운 후추가 퍼진다. 글렌헤이븐이 병입한 이 1978년 빈티지는 폐쇄된 하이랜드 증류소의 곧은 골격을 드러낸다. 삼킨 뒤에도 보리와 미네랄의 기운이 입안에 길게 남는다.

a rather stone-y sherry at first, with a little gunpowder and flints, but it would rather develop on truckloads of raisins and prunes, with this meaty background that’s always so lovable, between chicken soup and sweet soy sauce. And there’s some pipe tobacco. With water: a little oak popping out. Some soup made out of prune juice and pencil shavings – and that works
restaurant Palate
big, very chewy, prune-y, raisiny, and shock-full of toffee. It’s really thick, and goes a bit towards those feelings of fur tongue. With water: we tamed it. Some mint coming through, as well as a faint charcoaly feeling. Direr raisins
