오래전 사라진 하이랜드 증류소 글렌 알빈 1979가 짙은 황금빛을 잔에 드리운다. 24년의 세월이 빚어낸 잘 익은 사과와 들꿀, 마른 건초와 묵은 오크의 향이 느릿하게 피어오른다. 56.2도의 입안에서는 보리 사탕과 시트러스, 은은한 향신료가 또렷한 힘으로 번지며 흐른다. 지금은 만날 수 없는 글렌 알빈 특유의 정갈하고 단단한 개성이 한가운데를 관통한다. 꿀과 마른 과일의 여운이 깊고 길게 이어지며 마무리되는 위스키다.

rather raw, spirity, grainy and kind of roasted. It’s got a presence but it’s not very ‘defined’. Hints of raw pear spirit and a little rubber
restaurant Palate
a little better, with more malt and more fruitiness, apples, oranges… Also something slightly burnt and grainy at the same time. The mouth feel is okay, it isn’t weak whisky at all
timer Finish
medium long, malty, with just hints of stewed fruits. Strawberries?
