Tasting Notes
하일랜드 수도 인버네스에 있던 폐쇄 증류소 글렌 알빈, 1965년에 증류한 40년산이다. 네스 호 가까이에서 몰트를 빚다 사라진 산지의 결이 40년의 긴 잠으로 깊어졌다. 리필 호그스헤드에서 40년을 보내 잔빛은 진한 황금빛이다. 묵은 과일과 꿀, 옅은 왁스가 향에서 은은하게 드러나고 입에서는 44도의 부드러움 속에 과실과 묵은 오크의 단맛이 차분하게 흐른다. 둥글고 긴 여운이 잔잔하게 가라앉는다.

rather raw, spirity, grainy and kind of roasted. It’s got a presence but it’s not very ‘defined’. Hints of raw pear spirit and a little rubber
restaurant Palate
a little better, with more malt and more fruitiness, apples, oranges… Also something slightly burnt and grainy at the same time. The mouth feel is okay, it isn’t weak whisky at all
timer Finish
medium long, malty, with just hints of stewed fruits. Strawberries?
