restaurant Palate
raw, beastly, on lemon skin, limejuice, something very mineral. More a ‘riesling’ Caol Ila. With water: the salt comes out. Grape seeds. Very different from the ‘Eidora’ but the same high class. 88 points. Caol Ila 15 yo 1989/2005 (58.1%, Jack Wieber’s Castle series, cask #4544, 180 bottles)
