these typical notes of hay, wild all-flower honey, overripe apples, and freshly malted barley. Softer than the Highlanders, bigger than the usual Speysiders… The floral notes make it rather delicate, though. It seems that this is a very nice batch
restaurant Palate
very malty, with quite some caramel and toffee, and again these notes of hay, very typical. Then honey, damson plums, toasts, a large apple pie (tarte tatin), and oranges. Really enjoy this toffee-ish maltiness
timer Finish
medium, fresh, still malty. Honey and toffee in the aftertaste, with a grassier and slightly smokier signature
